After a long period of observation I have come to the conclusion that the forum here is a lost cause. Virtually all participating members completely ignore the simple rules and it will, to be frank take far too much work to correct all the problems. The last straw was an idiot deciding to post photographs (one of the clearest rules we have) of himself in a fur costume.

Currently the forums have been removed and profile comments disabled. Gallery comments are still allowed at this moment in time, but are subject to review and will also be disabled if necessary. Gallery uploads are still allowed but have been limited to 5 per day for normal members and 10 per day for artists.

Please do not bother arguing with this decision. These decisions are final and will not be reversed, but depending on future member conduct they may be revised. I will however offer the site for sale if there is a furry out there who believes he or she can turn it around. All reasonable offers will be considered.

In the meantime, if you wish to roleplay I suggest finding another furry site from the multitude out there - this one won't be back. Take note, Members simply moving their furry roleplays to sister sites (animeotk, diaperedanime, odanime or yaoiai) are likely to be banned.

It's the users who have been here a while who persistently break the rules.

As for how much I would be looking for, the scripts and skin for this site alone are $330 or so (perhaps more now) so I would consider (but probably require much more) offer of above $500

Well how about refreshing the forums? like reseting the entire thing to get rid of all the threads and make it like you just opened the site? would that might work? and maybe if it would help have some more help looking after the site to make sure no one would break the rules again.

It seems to me that warning people and banning repeated offenders just like you would for any other broken rules would make a lot more sense.

Considering those rulebreakers included members of the Mod-team that'd be a bit pointless. Kicking them from the site wouldn't help the problem one tiny bit.

If the forum was being used constructively and moderated properly, this wouldn't have been a problem. Instead its been used to post emo suicide-notes, real-life pictures of people WITH FUCKING CHILDREN IN THE PICTURE, swap addresses and personal details, encourage underage members, pass on poor advice and find e-Boyfriends.

I ran out of breath trying to get the mod team to get a move on -___-.
I got no help in the forum and frankly I'm suspicious that certain members of the mod-team felt that this was their site and not AIs, so he and his rules could go hang. They certainly ignored posting of real-life pics, let other people talk them into breaking rules themselves and just treated the place like it was their personal mental sounding board.

A few mods showed some interest in moderating the galleries - they've remained open, uploading is still possible. Rest of this site is locked.

Common dude please rethink this choice, if you go with this members will start to drop like flies and soon after a while the site will wined up like a lost cause.
I love this site to the bottom of my heart and it's basically what T.C. said, cause to most of use it is true it's all we have left.
